House of DS Group is making some brand changes and among the changes is the face behind the brand. As per the latest development, Anushka Sharma has replaced Priyanka Chopra as the brand ambassador of Rajnigandha Pearls. For years, PeeCee has been the face of Rajnigandha Pearls from the House of DS Group, but their latest advertising campaign features Anushka. The ad has Anushka helping two fellow models who suffer a wardrobe malfunction while walking the ramp, highlighting the message of displaying goodness.
Rajeev Jain, Vice President, Marketing, DSL told in.com, "Anushka not only carries the legacy of the core philosophy of the brand, ‘Goodness Shines’ forward from the last ambassador; her personality is also well aligned with the brand prospect of goodness. Anushka regularly works on philanthropic initiatives for animals and was the PETA person of the year in 2018... thus giving the association more meaning than just a pecuniary relationship."
Priyanka, who recently tied the knot with her Nick Jonas, has back in LA to comply with her work commitments. She has been away from Bollywood films for about 4 years now, but fans in India will get to see her on screen in 2019 with one of her films, The Sky Is Pink, coming up. On the other hand, Anushka Sharma last appeared in Zero which was an epic fail on box office.
