PG Qualifications: Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging from Indian Institute of Packaging
Incumbent will be responsible for category management and primary responsible for increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth. He will be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of a product category to maximize consumer appeal. Relationships with vendors and product range management will also be part of his duties. To have extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment. They must have a commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles.

Experience: Minimum 18 years experience with strong understanding of Hydropnics
Will be operating with business head to understand strategic fit of hydroponics to support overall Company’s Strategy. Leveraging on Hydroponics ecosystem and monetising the same.
Facilitate Business Head in planning, formulating and developing short term and long term Business Strategies, objectives and revenue projections, ensuring long term viability of Business unit and also that they are in line with group’s objective, plans and vision.
Develop Annual business plans, operating plans and budgets to support strategic guidelines given by Business Head and also meet agreed objectives and revenue projections and ensure implementation of the approved plans.
Provide operational inputs to all functions (including primary processing) at business levels/company levels ensuring efficient and effective work planning, allocation, management of targets etc.
Plan and implement complete Hydroponic system.
Research and implement best hydroponic techniques for cultivation and marketing of crops grown at the Hydroponic farms.
Would oversee establishment and operations of large hi tech agro forestry / horticulture farms, mechanization for farm operations and introduction of latest techniques in soil and water conservation, agro forestry, tissue culture, Agri Q.C labs, green house etc.
Maintain and ensure that all activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for requirements, legal requirements (all corporate governance compliances) and business ethics.
Coach, motivate and guide team in achieving performance targets.
Would oversee cultivation and marketing of medicinal and aromatic plants, agro forestry plants, identifying, introducing, cultivating and marketing of crops grown at the Hydroponic farms with techno commercial and financial suitability to company’s operations.
Responsible for arranging important regulatory approvals, permissions, agreements with State/Central Governments relating to land ceiling laws, revenue laws, forestry laws, labour laws etc.

Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends, consumer/customer behavior, competitor activities, conduct surveys to discover prospective customer preferences and create & nurture new business opportunities
Assist in Techno Commercial Evaluation of identified products/ Opportunities of food and beverage products, sample sourcing & product development.
Interpret data and consolidate information on new innovations in the area of market research into reports & product decks and presenting it to senior management.
Detailed Mapping of the Indian/International Markets and identifying potential customers.
MIS to reporting Authority as per defined periodicity.
