DSL has partnered with Indian Institute of Technology for establishment of a Centre for Entrepreneurship to nurture Entrepreneurship. While trainings and mentorship will be important internal activities, the focus of the centre would be to build strong relationships with the industry and investment community for fundraising and customer acquisition. The DS COE will also offer grants and support to grassroots level organizations to promote entrepreneurship through community-based interventions.
The contribution included a chair for Artificial Intelligence at IIT Delhi for perpetuity.
DSL in partnership with GVRISKH executed an incubation program for women entrepreneurs at the PAN India level to promote economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs in cognate with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 5, which focuses on achieving gender equality and women's empowerment.
During the project period, 60 such women entrepreneurs were selected from different cities and inducted in capacity-building workshops and mentoring process, establishing them as strong entrepreneurs.
Creativity Adda, is a concept, where students are the co-creators and designers of their own learning. The concept was developed as a free learning space where children are able to identify and explore their interests and have the ability to design their learning path through activities ranging from computer-based learning, traditional art, sports, cooking, or physical training. This is in continuation with the Group’s efforts and initiatives towards skill development, social entrepreneurship, and education. With Shikshantar Sansthan as the partner, DSL is implementing the project in three schools of Delhi.
To facilitate uninterrupted education online for the students during Pandemic, DS Spiceco Pvt. Ltd. provided tablets to 160 economically weak students from Delhi.
DSL has partnered with Gautam Gambhir Foundation to support the education of children of martyrs, with long terms objectives of ensuring education and by providing psycho-social support to overcome their trauma and loss.
