The Dharampal Satyapal Group believes in building sustainable communities that are economically, environmentally and socially healthy and resilient. The company works on projects to achieve the aforesaid and focuses on critical areas such as Water Conservation, Livelihood Enhancement, Education, Health Care, and any relevant programs that help the communities and have a long term and sustainable impact.
Water Conservation is a key focus area of DS Group’s CSR agenda. The Group has been working on a wide range of Water Conservation programs to address the shortage of water and improve the water security in areas that have been identified as critical. Through collective and consistent efforts, the Group is working towards alleviating water scarcity problems affecting the lives of people, farmers and communities.

The 'Rubber Tappers’ Training Program,' was awarded in the category of 'Unique Skill Development' by "Think Media INC Best CSR practices award 2013".
The Company has also received a special recognition award by ‘AAJ TAK CARE AWARDS 2013’ in the Empowerment category for the same program.
In 2011, the Company was conferred with the award by Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre Award for ‘EXCELLENCE IN WATER MANAGEMENT - BEYOND THE FENCE’ for the Safe drinking water project in Assam.
The Dharampal Satyapal Charitable Trust was incorporated in 1993, as a guiding body for the charitable activities of the Group. The trust actively contributes towards improving the quality of life of the underprivileged.
The Trust has aided various educational institutions like the Anglo Sanskrit Victoria Jubilee Senior Secondary School and the Commercial School, Daryaganj, in their academic endeavours. These schools have had a place of pride in the academic circles of Delhi since 1869 and inspire quality education and values. The school’s superior curriculum produces scholars and professionals of high quality and morale.
The Trust also organizes various health camps, eye check up camps, blood donation camps, and distribution of blankets, support to physically challenge and other welfare activities for poor and under privileged communities across the country.
‘Sarla Devi Scholarship’, an initiative of the Dharampal Satyapal Charitable Trust, provides two types of scholarships to the needy deserving students from the financially underprivileged families and students struggling due to a personal or family crisis. Scholarships amounting upto Rs 75,000 are provided to students pursuing Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational studies from Delhi/ NCR; and amounting upto Rs 10,000 for students hit by a crisis. After a rigorous screening of the students’ profile, sixteen schlorships were awarded to students on 17 August 2019 during a function at DS Headquarters.
An Education Centre has been started by the DS Charitable Trust on March 1st, 2019, for the Children of Migrant Labourers at Village Choti Milk, Greater Noida, to provide quality education to children, who stay at the temporary camps, near the construction sites. Construction labourers move from one place to another in search of work opportunity with their children.
A qualified teacher and a day care assistant use different methodology to teach as children of different age group and learning level are enrolled there. Singing, poem recitation and storytelling are some of the activities to engage these children and it has been observed that the children also bring along their siblings to learn, after some time.
A gender sensitization program was organized by the Dharampal Satyapal Charitable Trust for the children of slum areas of Sector 8, 9 and 10 in Noida from 2016 to 2018.
